Author's Chair 2009

On Thursday, May 21, 2009, Liberty Intermediate School held an Author's Chair Session for students to showcase themselves as the authors. Three or four students from each class volunteered to read snippets of their writing to a large group.  

During the Author Chair Sessions, some of the fifth-grade GE students formed a panel to give feedback to the readers. The feedback used the language of the Six + 1 Writing Traits Program and modeled giving constructive comments to peers.   Students from the audience were invited to give feedback, as well.
